What is your background?
23yrs Resides in Chicago, IL. Born & Raised in Jackson, MS
Do you go by your govt name or socialite(entertainment) name and how did it come about?
More often than not, I'm being called CaKes. It's a nickname given to me by my mother with two variations
(MandyCaKes or FurdgeCaKes) MandyCaKes because Mandy is the nickname for Amanda & FurdgeCaKes
because Furdge is my last name. Why CaKes? Everybody loves cake. Except I don't eat it. Crazy, right?
Best quality you seek in a partner?
Honesty. The same thing I desire from myself.
What type of influence or wow factor do you aim at when creating new material or performing on stage?
When I'm performing Spoken Word, I'm hoping that I've been honest enough with my words that the people can/will feel it. I don't
feel that it is our job as Artist to "please" the people as much as it is to be honest & whole in our art so that others can feel the
love in it. With my pictures though? I just want those that see them to know that the human body is beautiful & that black is
especially beautiful.
